Digital Map of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic
A trilingual digital map that aggregates and visualizes information on the border regime and border zone of the Kyrgyz Republic for citizens, government agencies, tourism businesses and tourists — supporting Task 11 of the Programme on Sustainable Tourism Development (2025–2030).
Activities performed
- Individual work plan, desk analysis and consultations with stakeholders, including the State Border Service
- Study of the client's requirements and relevant legislation (incl. Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 172-r of 4 April 2016)
- List of functional and visual requirements and of data in Kyrgyz, Russian and English for display on the map
- Prototype / design of the digital map: page structure, navigation and functionality, approved by the SBS and UNDP
- Development of the trilingual (KG / RU / EN) digital map adapted for mobile devices and its integration into the official SBS website
- Training sessions for SBS staff, video instructions and written user guides for administrators, government users and external users
- One month of technical support and refinements after commissioning
- Version of the digital map for the Department of Tourism website discoverkyrgyzstan.org
